We cannot recommend SVN Events enough!  Steve assisted with planning our wedding from day one all the way through day of coordinating and it couldn't have gone better.  He held us accountable with monthly meetings to make sure we weren't missing anything while Val helped us make our vision come true.  The whole team was there from decorating, cocktail hour, working directly with our other vendors, cleanup and so much more.  Even small details like surprising us with a bunch of umbrellas once we knew for sure it was going to pour - they were amazing to work with an we honestly couldn't have done it without them!

SVN Events was a blessing for us!  We really needed the special touch that Steve and his crew brought to our wedding day.

From planning to execution, even on such short notice, Steve came through and then some.

The cocktail hour was beautifully laid out!  We had a buffet style for dinner and Steve provided beautiful chafing dishes, which classed things up very nicely.  Steve directed the buffet service for our 150 guests in a short amount of time, which was so impressive.  The presentation was also on point for a dessert bar and everything in between!

We were so happy to have had his helpful advice and suggestions.  Everything worked out great.  We didn't even have to think about it once the day began, it was in his hands, and he made it happen.

If you’re even considering hiring SVN for your event—you’re on this site so you must be—be like Nike and just do it. After years of planning, we thought we could tackle our wedding day coordination by ourselves. I am so glad we swallowed our pride and hired SVN to coordinate. Steve and Val were absolute rock stars! I trusted them with my vision and they brought it to life beautifully, never overlooking a single detail. From the moment the bridal party arrived at the venue until we got on the shuttle to leave, I knew Steve and Val were on top of everything from the decorations to keeping us on schedule to vendor management and helping pack everything up at the end of the night. Knowing they were there allowed my new husband and I to enjoy our long-awaited wedding day with our family and friends stress free. 

If I were to do it all over again (and I definitely would relive that night over and over), I wouldn’t hesitate hiring SVN.

We used SVN Events staff for a wedding we were catering in upstate New York and we were thrilled with their service.  Nick and his crew were professional and always one step ahead.  They jumped in where ever they were needed.  SVN Events exceeded our expectations and we are happy to partner up with them and can't wait to work with them again in the future!

We are so unbelievably grateful that since starting to plan for our 2021 (postponed from 2020) wedding way back in 2018, Steve was by our side as our Day of Coordinator. From our first phone call, Steve was energetic, creative, warm, respectful, and dedicated. I could literally feel his enthusiasm and commitment to making our wedding day the best it could be before he even met us. He provided us with new ideas, advice we hadn’t thought of yet, and solutions to problems before they even had a chance to arise. When the pandemic hit and we needed to postpone, Steve was extremely compassionate and flexible with our changing plans. Steve was reliable in his communication and follow through. He made an outstanding impression on our JOP, as she had never been contacted by a DOC prior to the wedding to coordinate—but that is the quality you can expect with Steve. He is organized and thoughtful—I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to trust anyone enough to let go of control and enjoy my night but I was able to with Steve and his assistant, Amanda. Amanda was very sweet and eager to help—one of my biggest concerns was making sure our dog (we had a backyard wedding at our house) was let out and cared for a bit—and Amanda was wonderful doing so and easing my mind. Steve was beyond helpful in all the ways you’d predict and not predict—he helped me stay calm and problem solve when rain started coming down on our guests, when we needed to set up fans to cool the dance floor, when the bartenders were running late, and even when a food truck ran out of diesel! I would work with Steve again in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping our wedding day be a huge success!
